When did you become an electrician?: 2000

When did you join Local Union #113?: 2001

Favorite jobsite you have worked on: Intel - I enjoyed the political atmosphere at the time - it was during the 2000 election, and I also enjoyed the fact that it was an all union job.

Favorite thing about Colorado Springs: The Weather - the weather is better here than any other place that i've ever lived in my life. I like the weather and the view.

Advice for apprentices: Keep your mouth shut, show up and do what you're told. You'll be a journeyman soon enough. The BS doesn't go on forever.

Hobbies: Reading, writing and arithmetic, watching bad television and comedy

One of your favorite book: On the road by Jack Kerouac

Favorite sports team: The Rockies

Favorite part of the union: The brotherhood - the way we take care of each other. I've never met more people who were willing to take the shirt off their back, go out of their way to help you.

One thing that you'd like to change about the union: I would like to see more people, who already belong, participate in union activities.
