Primary duties: Basically, whatever is needed from the president of the local. I'm also the door foreman for the union meeting. I make sure everything is running kosher in the hall.

When did you become an electrician?: 1997

When did you join Local Union #113?: 1998

Favorite jobsite or job you have worked on: I'm going to have to say service department work. It's something new everyday. You're basically your own boss. You go in there and do what you have to do and make it shine.

Favorite thing about Colorado Springs: The mountains.

Advice for apprentices: Stay focused. Pay attention to your journeymen when they're trying to give you instructions.

Hobbies: Anything outdoors - hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, playing sports.

Favorite place to fish: Monument lake - it's nice up there and my daughter can enjoy it as much as me.

Favorite part of the union: The security
