Your Electrical License(s) expire September 30, 2011. You may now renew online at www.dora.state.co.us/registrations. Click the‘Online License Renewal’ button on the left side of the page to begin the process. Then search for your license type and click the appropriate link. Your license renewal is not complete until payment has been received. Once the renewal is completed, we will print a copy of your renewed license card and mail it to your address of record.

You will also receive a yellow RENEWAL NOTICE POSTCARD in the mail at your address of record within the next couple of weeks. This is intended as an additional reminder to renew your license. There is no personal information on this postcard (other than your name and address). The postcard contains the renewal expiration date, fees, and the website address for renewing your license online.

If you have moved and not yet submitted an address change, you may do so online when you renew. It is your responsibility to provide current contact information associated with your license.

This email and the postcard are the only notices you will receive. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. Please disregard this email if you have already renewed your license or if this notice was sent to you in error.

Continuing Competency for Residential Wireman (RW), Journeyman Electrician (JW) and Master Electrician (ME) only: New for this renewal, all Active status licensees must complete the Continuing Competency (CC) requirement by taking the CC Individual Assessment at a Pearson VUE location.  Reservations for the Assessment may be made by calling (800) 275-8244. This requirement must be completed and submitted prior to your renewal and you will be prevented from accessing Online Renewal until it is complete. You can verify completion of this requirement electronically. To logon to the system and access your CC requirement click here. Once you have successfully completed and submitted your CC requirement, you will need to re-login to the Online Renewal page. Once the CC is complete and submitted you will see a “Renew this License” button inside your online account. You can then click it to move forward to renew your license.
